70 euros
34 Old Killarney Village Aghadoe. Killarney, Co. Kerry, V93D2KO

Service Description

Reflexology is the application of appropriate pressure to specific points and areas on the feet. Reflexologists believe that these areas and reflex points correspond to different body organs and systems, and that pressing them has a beneficial effect on the organs and person’s general health. Points and areas on the feet correspond to specific body organs, bones and systems through the entire body. For example, reflexology holds that a specific spot in the arch of the foot corresponds to the bladder point. When a reflexology practitioner uses fingers to apply appropriate pressure to this area, it affects bladder functioning by improving the immune system, detoxifying, promoting healing the healing. When there is stagnation of the vital life force in the body, it is felt as pain, stiffness, or weakness. You can also feel the pain on the relevant points on your feet by facing pressure on them and sometimes a small knot can be felt which is caused by uric acid or other toxins from your body. The intention is to activate the flow of energy through the nerve endings on the sole of the foot, through various pressing, pulsing, holding and kneading actions its most basic function is to stimulate the body’s natural relaxation.
